Aloha Granola

We go through a lot of granola. We eat it with milk or yogurt, for crunch over warm, cooked oatmeal, over ice cream, and it makes a welcomed gift for friends and neighbors. We ’ve made a few kinds in SKCC (try the Chunky Cocoa one!) and while I generally don’t add dried fruit to my granola to keep sugar down, it feels appropriate here for the sort of Hawaiian vibes we’re going for. Dried mango or pineapple are great!
Mac nuts would be the most “on theme” here, but they are quite expensive. Almonds, cashews or walnuts work here just fine. Keep an eye as nuts can burn quickly.
