Pumpkin Blondies

Paging through my magazine and newspaper pulls, it felt seasonal to get around to these. Handheld and easy to share, these are great to share! I did use the nuts, but those are optional and there is plenty of texture without. A Heath toffee chip would be nice instead of the butterscotch? Anyway, you get it. Maybe it’s because my baking soda was brand new but mine were pretty puffy, almost more cake-like than brownie blondie.
