This toffee recipe is from Aran Goyoaga’s newest cookbook Canelle et Vanille Bakes Simple and if you eat gluten free, it’s brilliant! Her photos are dreamy and the information is clear, and as someone who has a GF person in the house, there are lots of cookies and cakes that don’t feel like a sad alternative.
The nuts add heft and texture here. If you are nut free, some crushed candy canes and cocoa nibs would be nice or even some candied pepitas.
