BBQ Ribs w/ Corn & Slaw

Ribs take time, so I generally only make them when it’s more than just the four of us. We do have a Traeger, and they are great smoked we use this method, but I am writing the recipe to use a regular gas grill. If you can season the ribs a day or two in advance, that is best for the seasoning to penetrate the meat. If you don’t have a broad range of spices, nearly every store and brand makes a grill or BBQ blend that encompasses everything below

We don’t have blue cheese lovers here, but if you do, a crumbled half cup into the slaw dressing would be delicious! I know celery seed is a unique ingredient you may not want to stock. If you choose to skip it, add another spice to the slaw like maybe coriander or fresh chives so it has more flavor.

This would be a great meal for entertaining because so much can be prepared in advance. The ribs can actually be cooked ahead of time and kept in the fridge overnight. Just bring them to room temperature while you heat up the oven or grill for a final sear with the sauce on them.
