Small Batch Tiramisu
- Makes
- 1 9"x5" loaf pan
- Total time
Someone requested this months ago and I have to say, I was not exactly sure how small of a batch you were talking. When I hear that word, I think of a dish that you only eat one time, so for us that would mean a loaf pan instead of an 8” or 9” dish that I think would feed closer to 6. If you want enough for a 9” pan, simply double things.
I used to buy ladyfingers at Trader Joes, but apparently they are seasonal and not there now. I found some at Sprouts, in case that saves you running around town.
I tinkered with a recipe from Adrianna’s, A Cozy Kitchen , where she suggested that all of the ingredients for the cream layer should be cold to emulsify well. You start there, and then you layer the dessert much like a lasagna.
