
Homemade Potato Gnocchi

I am including the recipe for the gnocchi below. I am going to include the sauce, but know we took the Braised Cannellini Bean recipe from the archives, added a pound of browned Italian sausage, a bit more broth and it was a great gnocchi sauce!
If you like pesto, you could thin that out with a bit of pasta water. Or a meat sauce would be excellent too, we just don't make a lot of those in the summer.
I made these twice, and the first time I just boiled them — they were very tender and more traditional. Still great. The kids liked them pan fried, then warmed in the sauce for texture. I will include both options below as I think it's just preference.
Depending where you grocery shop, tipo 00 flour may or may not be available (we get it at Sprouts, Whole Foods, or online).
