
Butternut & Goat Cheese Flatbread

We’re topping a store-bought pizza dough with smoky roasted butternut squash, jammy onions, goat cheese, and lemony parm. Add a drizzle of spicy-thyme honey and it is the perfect fall dinner or appetizer. The pre-bake here helps this flatbread hold its shape as opposed to being “melty gooey” like a traditional pizza, making it a great appetizer option as well.
A tip for your dough: Let it rest on the counter while you roast the squash and prep your sauce. This will really help it relax and be much easier to roll out and get a thin crust. Otherwise, the gluten will be too tough and it’ll keep shrinking back to its original form.
