Hugh and I had a night away a few weeks ago and I spent all of my pool hours reading Cooks Illustrated. Their recipes are so incredibly well tested and thorough, and I always leave them having learned something new; even if I don’t make the recipe.
After reading about this chocolate cake, I immediately put it on my list to bake for a special occasion. It is like a brownie cake (easily dairy free with use of non-dairy milk and a squeeze of lemon). With a small scoop of ice cream over top, this would be a delicious holiday treat!
