Our kids love love a burger and while I think we have over a dozen types on here, I had some avocados to use up and you know we love a southwest flavor profile. We add a bit of flavor to the beef, and otherwise are sort of making a taco in a bun? Thinly shredded cabbage and avocado and cheese - this burger was a crowd pleaser for sure.
You can absolutely do these with turkey or chicken, they’ll just cook a little faster and taste leaner. If you like spicy, you could add some pickled jalapenos, or even smash burger some thinly sliced fresh ones into the meat if you’re cooking them on a flat top or skillet.
