I don’t mean to be overly Ina Garten on you, but seek out some good bread. I think the Trader Joe's fresh bread is all terrible, La Brea is a good, widely available store-bought option, but a local bakery or baker at a farmers markets will have the freshest stuff.

We have a butter and olive oil mix here, but use all olive oil for a dairy-free option.
