A Celebratory Ice Cream Cake

This is a decadent, celebratory dessert!  The recipe has instructions for homemade brownies for the base, but boxed brownies would also work. If using boxed brownies, make sure to follow the instructions for a 9x13 pan, or read the back to see if you’ll need two boxes in order to get the right size.

The light corn syrup (not usually an ingredient used around here) gives the fudge its classic shine and texture. You should be able to find it at most standard grocery stores. The recipe will still work without it, but won’t be quite as pourable and glossy.
