Salt & Pepper Biscuits

My kids love all bread products, and I don't make biscuits often, so these felt like a real treat. These are savory, so I gave them to the kids with a thin slice of ham in between. If you want them as a vehicle for jam, skip the parmesan cheese and serve them with berry jam. If you want rounds instead of squares, roll the dough out a little thinner and use a round biscuit cutter.
I prepped mine an hour or so before dinner and let them sit in the fridge for a bit before baking. I think they could also be cut and frozen, so you could bake them fresh, as needed. Biscuits are best eaten within a few hours of being baked.
