Terms of Service - Gift Memberships

Last updated: September 8, 2020

The purchase, redemption, and use of Sprouted Kitchen Cooking Club (“SKCC”) Gift Memberships are subject to the terms and conditions hereinbelow. These terms and conditions are in addition to and in no way intended to replace SKCC’s general Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. SKCC reserves the right to modify, alter, or amend these terms and conditions from time to time in its sole discretion with or without notice.

Gift Memberships are presently offered in three, six, and twelve month increments each of which can be purchased here. At the time of purchase, you will be asked to select the desired monthly increment, identify your recipient of choice, designate a delivery address (i.e. email), date, and optional message, and provide valid payment. SKCC will thereafter generate a unique redemption code which shall be delivered to the subject recipient in accordance with the foregoing selections/designations.

Upon receiving an email containing a unique redemption code, the subject recipient will be required to create an SKCC account and agree to the general Terms of Use and Privacy Policy prior to commencing his/her gifted membership. To the extent a recipient refuses to create an SKCC account, said membership will be void and forfeited.

As alluded to hereinabove, Gift Memberships will not commence until appropriately redeemed by their designated recipients (nor will they expire). At or prior to the conclusion of a recipient’s Gift Membership, he/she will be notified of the same and afforded an opportunity to renew said Membership (i.e. a recipient will not be subject to an automatic renewal).

All sales/purchases are final. For avoidance of doubt, no refunds and/or credits will be issued for any Gift Memberships purchased and/or redeemed.

Risk of Loss

SKCC expressly disclaims any and all responsibility for the non-delivery of Gift Memberships contemplated herein including, but not limited to, non-delivery resulting from of or due to (whether in whole or in part) the provision of an invalid email address, active or passive email filtering, or other technical issues. SKCC further disclaims any and all responsibility for any Gift Membership (and associated redemption code) that is lost, stolen, destroyed, and/or improperly used/accessed.

In the event a gift memberships is non-redeemable as a tired and primary result of SKCC’s acts or omissions, your sole remedy, and SKCC’s sole liability, will be the issuance of a new gift membership and associated redemption code.

Active SKCC Members

Nothing herein shall be interpreted so as to preclude an active SKCC member from receiving and/or redeeming a Gift Membership. To the extent an active SKCC member receives a Gift Membership, he/she shall receive credits in an amount equal to the number of months of the Gift Membership with such credits being applied on a go-forward basis (i.e. credits may not be applied retroactively as a means to recover any SKCC member costs previously paid).
